We discovered that what was needed to be able to address the problem of those who were destitute and without the basics to sustain human life was a quick response to need and then quality follow up care over the short to medium term. On contact with an individual we will strive to give them their basic needs immediately. This may include a food parcel, toiletries and/or clothing, shelter in the form of a tent, shed, or church hall or house. The condition of the person would dictate how we would house them. If they would be a danger to themselves and property then we would care for them in the church yard where they would be dry and safe. Eventually we aim to get the worst cases fit and stable so as they can get more normal accommodation in one of our houses. We continue to have contact with the person as long as they need or want it. We find that our quick response and sustained care and unconditional acceptance of everyone offers the homeless a good chance of getting their lives back on track.

Our support provision includes a 'soup kitchen' once a week, where we receive on average over 15 - 30 attendees per session.
The 'soup kitchen' provides a place where homeless people can get a couple of hours warmth, a warm meal and the chance to socialise.
The 'soup kitchen' can then make referrals on to the two drop in sessions we run each week.

At the 'Drop in' sessions we aim to provide an informal and confidential information, advice and guidance service. We also have 'Turning Point' workers on hand so that they can offer advice around drugs and alcohol as well as providing a needle exchange.
Whilst we take referrals from the Probation service, non-probation users are free to use our services as and when they need it. We aim to provide a diverse range of support services and employ a diverse range of volunteers/workers with a mixture skills and experience to meet the diverse needs of our service users. We have both male and female workers/volunteers to suit individual needs.
